Undervoltage Release

An undervoltage release for circuit breakers is responsible for monitoring voltage and for tripping a breaker if or when the voltage dips to somewhere between 35 and 70 percent of its UVR rating.  Unlike a shunt release, an undervoltage release does not rely on a mechanical latch that is powered by a moment of energy. Instead, it needs constant energy to in order to trip the breaker or keep it closed.

Shop our giant online store to find undervoltage trip devices and any other components you need to install or to update a circuit breaker. Our selection of new and refurbished undervoltage releases comes from some of the top manufacturers in the industry and we carry a wide range of products for obsolete circuit breakers.
