Telemecanique, once a division of Square D and now a part of Schneider Electric, manufactures a large amount of electrical components, specializing in automation management and control. In 2001, they created Quickfit technology which allows for connections to be made without tools or cables. Telemecanique continues to innovate in areas as diverse as inverters, web technology integration with robots, and photoelectric cells.
